 Chief Robert (Bob) Gross started his Chief of Police duties August 1, 2005. Bob comes to Seaside from Reedsport where he was Police Chief for the past four years. Prior to that Bob spent twenty-seven years rising through the ranks at the Kennewick Police Department in Eastern Washington. He is married to Joy (almost 25 years) and has three grown children and six grandchildren.
He’s still acquainting himself with the community, officers, dispatchers, and other City staff. He is excited to be here and will feel more at home in Seaside once all the moving is over with.
