SUSPECT ARRESTED IN STABBING DEATH IN
Early Monday morning (4:53 a.m.) Seaside Police responded to
a report of a man stabbed at
The first officer on the scene saw movement inside the
residence and immediately set up a perimeter. Additional officers responded
from Clatsop County Sheriffs Office,
Gearhart Police made contact at the 3200 block of HWY 101
North, the last known address of the suspect. Officers learned that the suspect
had returned to the apartment around 6:30 a.m., gathered some items and left
the area on foot. At approximately 7:00 a.m. officers spotted the suspect
walking southbound on foot near
Officers are awaiting the arrival of the Oregon State Patrol Crime Lab to assist in processing the scene and detectives from the Clatsop County Major Crime Team are conducting interviews with the suspect and potential witnesses.
