Opening Weekend of Spring Break Quiet

 

Seaside Police report the opening weekend of Spring Break was family oriented and relatively quiet. While there were a number of people enjoying the City and the Prom, there were no reports of any loud parties involving juveniles or adults. Officers working the weekend issued seventy-five traffic citations, eighteen citations for Minor in Possession/Consumption of Intoxicating Liquor, and made eleven additional criminal arrests. Those arrests included Driving While Under the Influence, warrants, Possession of Less Than an Ounce of Marijuana, Disorderly Conduct and Furnishing Liquor to a Minor. In addition officer apprehended three runaways who were returned to the parents.
